2000 Guineas day! My first question is where have the first 4 months of the year disappeared to? Secondly who followed me in yesterday? NAP's rolling on a hatrick, bagged a 1300/1+ Quad at Perth. All in all we had 10 winners, and 5 sensibly priced placed efforts, resulting in my account being 300% better off at close of play yesterday!
Today's NAP is Oriental Scot in the 335 @ Thirsk. Looking back through form the horse goes best over todays trip, It has also won at this course. It generally has been beaten either by longer trips or being unlucky in running, the price is disappearing fast though so get on quick. (double stake)
Today i will be banging out some double and trebles.
Firstly a group of 8
200 Newmarket - Kay Gee Bee
310 Newmarket - Frankel
345 Newmarket - Tangerine Trees
330 Goodwood - Mush Mir

Friday 29th April
Firstly might I start by wishing the best of luck and many happy years to Wills and Kate, I won't bother watching the wedding but I'm sure it will be extravagant. Secondly I would like to wish my followers good luck for today. 9 winners (evs, 3/10, 9/2, 4/1, 12/1, 3/1, 5/4, 6/1and my NAP @ 5/2) 4 seconds, 4 thirds, some non runners, all in all a profitable day yesterday.
Todays NAP : Peachey Moment 325 Perth
Next Best : Elzahann 510 Perth
Brave selections considering I have only had 1 winner at Perth in the last 2 days. All sequences have to end though, for a treble I'll chuck in Royal Wedding in the 530 at Fontwell, believe it or not it has the best chance on Form so why not?
Also some excellent 2 year old races at Leicester definately worth a watch.

Wednesday 27th April
Hello readers, after 2 very relaxing days off, i'm back. I decided on the days off firstly due to the sheer amount of filth on Monday and the length of time it would take to trawl through and find the good stuff.
Yesterday I was just lazy and had a relaxing day with my family, no horse racing at all!
I'm going to change my tack a little. I'm going to give you my NAP, an each way double and then a selection for each race this afternoon. I haven't looked at the evening racing as yet.
NAP : Huzzah 450 Ascot, A winner in Class 2 and 3 is back in a class 4 today and steadily dropping down the weights. The Barry and Micheal Hills team have made me a few quid in the past and hopefully Huzzah can win today if not a massive place claim, has already seen a lot of support in the early market.
Each Way double : Hoar Frost 535 Perth, I tipped this one up for an eyecatching run last time and he didn't disappoint, (2nd @ 18/1). May well still go off double figures today and on the evindence of his last two runs, the horse has gotten the hang of his business and well worth sticking with whilst connections try to find a race for him to win. Only setback may be the trip.
Double it up with Uptown Guy (I wonder what drew my attention to this one?) 920 Kempton. 2 places from 3 runs to his name already, and this is the weakest race he has contested. Ryan Moore as a jockey booking can only ever be descriped as a positive,
Ascot : 200 The Penny horse, 230 Byrony, 305 Side glance, 340 The Betchworth Kid, 415 Margot Did, 450 Huzzah (NAP)
Perth : 210 Solway Beyond, 245 Lusa's lad, 320 Mic's Delight, 355 Nine Stories, 430 Toshi, 505 Appleaday, 535 Hoar Frost
Pontefract : 220 Bling King, 255 Circus Act, 330 Count Bertoni, 405 Sea of Gallilea, 440 Dork Dune, 515 Silken Thoughts.

Sunday 24th April
Happy Easter everybody, and happy birthday to my dad. The Irish National festival kicks off at Fairyhouse today with support from Sandown, Musselburgh, Plumpton, Towcester and Cork, it should be a great days racing.
yesterday saw 4 winners, a couple of decent priced place efforts and a couple of non runners
Todays NAP: A last minute change of mind, I was going with the Hannon/Hughes charge King of Jazz at Sandown but I've gone with one of my selections at Cheltenham who came down when going very nicely.

Saturday 23rd April
With no racing I spent my good friday with the doctor in an attemt to shake the hideous bout of seconditis I seemed to pick up on thursday. With some terrific races over the cards today including my favorite in the 520 when the flat jockeys take on the jump jockeys, I'm hoping for some big price winners to turn round an unwelcome losing run.
NAP : Oiseau de Nuit 235 Sandown
Sandown : 130 Clerks Choice, 205 Dantari, 310 Can't Buy Time, 420 King's Gambit, 450 Huygens, 520 Big Bay

Thursday 21st April
Yesterday was a complete disaster, only 2 winners, a second and a spattering of non runners.

Others in order of preference
Forest Rhythm 240 Wincanton
Second Brook 450 Ludlow

Tote Ten to Follow
1: Canford Cliffs - Richard Hannons classy miler is hotly fancied to have a good season and should pick up some big points as he looks to extend on his 3 race unbeaten run.
2: I Love Me - my outside bet for the 1000 guineas, should go well in some big fillies races this year.
3: King Torus - Another for Richard Hannon, Vintage Stakes winner and will be looking for G1 success this term.
4: Masked Marvel - An outside fancy for the Derby
5: Memory - my big bet for the 1000 guineas, again Richard Hannon.
6: Midday - Henry Cecils classy filly, 3 group 1 wins last year.
7: Rainbow Springs - This one is shaping as if to challenge for honours abroad and could be a decent dark horse for big points.
8: Roderic O'Connor - Aidan O'Briens Dewhurst runner up, has Ryan Moore confirmed for the 2000 Guineas and if he springs a shock over Frankel it will be a cracking start to your ten to follow year as everyone will have Frankel.
9: Twice Over - Disappointing in the World Cup but never got a run from a bad draw, will be there or thereabouts in big races this year.
10: Waiters Dream - was a classy 2 year old but never reached full potential, hopefully can make the step up to 3.

Wednesday 20 April
Yesterday wasn't a disaster 3 winners equalling a 67/1 treble and a few non runners dotted about left us minus £2.60 to a level £1 stake. So where can we get our £2.60 back today.
NAP: Hamza 505 Newcastle, Absolutely hosed up last time out at the start of the month, the runner up that day is in this field but given that Hamza is an April foal he can only go on for a run and I see no reason at all why he won't walk home with this. ONE TO WATCH FOR THE SEASON
NB: Sparkling Air 545 Hereford, 2nd over course and distance last time out and shaped as if would go better, given any improvement today this could well be one to watch for the future also.
The others.
Epsom: 200 Fratelina, 235 Rock'a'doodledoo, 310 Musawama, 345 Taqleed, 450 Baqaat
Hereford: 255 Golden Button, 405 Castlerock, 440 Rossbrin

Newcastle: 605 Simple Jim, 705 Choc'a'moca, 735 Pitkin, 805 Crown Ridge
Kempton: 650 Guided Missile, 750 Parlour Games, 820 Bubbly Braveheart, 850 Watered Silk, 920 Viking Dancer

Tuesday 19th April
First may I extend my apologies for no blog yesterday, On the day I managed to find 6 winners and felt tremendously bad about each and everyone of them, however the combination of a sunday in the sun cider session and a babyboy deciding that between 230am and 4am was awake time, I overslept and was consequently late for work.
Tips for today
NAP Esprit de Midas 430 Southwell: This is a SOB horse, it is 1st/2nd or recieves a duck egg, it's merely a case of getting it right. I think this is a weak enough race for the horse to show it's class.
NB Punchie 210 Pontefract: Tim Easterby has chucked out 2 2year-old winners first time out this season already and Punchie is well regarded to be the third, the two in the race that have already ran showed very little and on evidence look unlikely to score here.
Others:
Pontefract: 240 Best We Can, 310 Hoof It, 340 Markington, 440 Fibs and Flannel, 510 Frontline Phantom
Bath: 600 Huff and Puff, 700 Millyluvstobouggie, 730 Loyal Royal, 800 Timocracy
Wolverhampton: 545 Miss Firefly, 615 Crocus Rose, 715 Onlyfoalsandhorses, 745 Maydream
Southwell: 230 Cape of Storms, 300 Spirit of Coniston, 505 Tomintoul Star
Fontwell: 320 King Kasyapa, 520 Kaylif Aramis.

Sunday 17th April
It's been hard work trying to fing a NAP today. Don't get me wrong I could have just steamed into Fame and Glory but that would have taken no work, no reading, no studying form. If you want to buy some money at a better interest rate than the banks can offer then smash in on Fame and Glory in the 405 Navan. Fictional Account has form in the book to make him think but not really offer up a challenge. For a more rewarding NAP look at Soux Mix in the 335 Wetherby. Still to get off the mark, connections have found a race which offer up little to prevent that happening today. Oscar Barton is the only other one with any accountable form and Philasonic has to be looked at for a place given his decent pointing form.
NAP: SOUX MIX 335 WETHERBY

F1 Chinese Grand Prix Special
Sebastian Vettel is a penatly kick, get involved at Skybets 4/7 unless the car goes wrong Vettel wins
For sure both McLarens will NOT finish on the podium so this opens a door for either Rosberg or a Ferrari, Rosberg can be backed at 7/2 at totesport or boylesports, I prefer the price on Massa sportingbet have a standout 8/1 available.
Points finish has always been my favorite market although everytime Bernie Ecclestone makes more points available my value goes down, however 2 bits of value for the morning are Paul Di Resta (2 points finishes from 2 grand prix) still available at 21/20 from totesport, and the Kamikaze Kamui Kobayashi, China is a gool old chuck the car around circuit and Kobayashi will love it. 6/4 from skybet and boylesports.
Paddypower offer a tricast and at 18/1 I will be backing Vettel-Hamilton-Rosberg.
Happy Punting

After what can only be described as a disaster yesterday, although if you humour me I will push the classic tipster slant,
PRINCESS LEXI 530 BRIGHTON 9/1 WINNER
Although that was about it, even my NAP let me down, he was travelling well but then Cai Shen sprung the pack and he couldn't respond.

Ayr: 150 Bunclody, 220 Premier Sagas, 250 Hunterview, 400 Bogside, 430 I'm Delilah

325: The Scottish Grand National, I've already done Beshabar to a tune Antepost so I'm going to have a feeler each-way on Neptunes Equester, a horse who has been good to me and I don't see him letting me down today.

Friday 15th April
I'm going to have to keep it short and sweet today as I need to be at work in less than an hour. I've done the donkey work with the studying. Yesterday was a mixed bag but not a disaster. If you're only going to get 2 winners in a day, the unwritten rule is that they are your banker and the lucky last. Also Hoar Frost was 3/4 length away from an 18/1 victory from my next bests. On with todays tips, as it's early there is not many prices available yet.
NAP: Thimaar 425 Newbury: Only been seen once, in a Division 1 maiden in October, Finished a length 2nd to one of todays rivals, However 4 of the 5 horses that have reappearred from that race all won and the other was placed. I fancy Thimaar to reverse the form over this longer trip.
2 Next Bests today: Yes Tom 250 Ayr and my old favourite Mister Stickler 400 Ayr
The rest
Ayr:- 145 Meireveld, 220 Kaolak, 325 Door Boy, 435 Elzahann
Newbury:- 135 Coach Montana, 210 Celebrity, 240 Federation, 310 Trend Line, 450 Capercailie, 525 Pocketwood
Wolverhampton:- 335 Brent Pelham, 520 Tukitinyasok, 550 Indefinate Hope
Brighton:- 530 Princess Lexi, 710 Silent Fright
Chepstow:- 510 Hard Tackle, 725 Pathian Prince

Thursday 14th April
Today's NAP: Native Khan 410 Newmarket. (evs william hill) Not a working mans price I'm aware, however connections are happy that everything is in place for this one to come home comfortably today. won 8/11
3 to follow: 300 Newmarket: Saddlers Risk, (8/1 sky, VC, Coral, WH) came home at a canter last time out, although this is a step up in class from that he has serious place claims at least.
355 Cheltenham: Bai Zhu,(4/1 sky, tote, boylesports, stan James) This one has been in my book for a couple of weeks and have been waiting for him to reappear. He has taken to fences well and from his last win looks up for a fight. Signs are that this longer trip should suit and the jockey won on him last time out. Only slight risk, still holds an entry for Saturdays Scottish Grand National so may get pulled at the last minute.
525 Sedgefield: Hoar Frost, (18/1 tote) This one looked like he finally got the hang of it in the final half mile last time out, they've stepped him up 4 furlongs from that run which may be too far, I'd like to see him over 2m3f soon but if he's got the engine and jumps well, he'll be pitching at a big price. 2nd 18/1
All prices are correct at time of blog.
Some others to look out for as possible big winners or Each way steals.
