I'm taking a small sabatical from tipping, I have work to do on my systems and it seems fairer to do them behind the scenes. Essentially I have too much quantity over quality, and this will take some time to filter out. In the meanwhile bash the bookies and if I see anything special I'll be sure to tweet it!

   yesterday Bucking the Trend ran very well, until a mistake at the second last done for his chances, Princess of Orange was written in the stars, we knew our fate before as the horse drifted from 7s to 14s! Anyway we'll move on. England are going to Brazil, which is good. I have 5 today, a couple suitable for each way if that's your thing. Hopefully 1 or 2 can find the winners circle and I can get this heating turned on.

So still no winners over the weekend. A couple yesterday managed to find a bit of trouble at important times and may have gone closer which is a shame, but some just weren't good enough! I'm streamlining the blog, it'll take some time, but it just takes too long each day to maintain. Basically I'm only going to look at the higher class races, sellers at Southwell need not apply! Morning all, a disappointing 5th for Terfel yesterday. Hopefully we can do better today. I have 2 bets todays. I think they both have solid enough chances, but we'll see.

BOLD PREDICTION 310 PONTEFRACT
Decent win in a small field at Ayr 2 starts ago and the form for that has worked out well, and not disgraced up in class last time out, finishing within a length of one that has gone on to win a Group 3 and a Listed event subsequently. The winner of that race has won again also.

Ran a strormer after 6 months off last week, handicapper hasn't had time to reassess so if that was a pipe opener then he is ridiculously well in here for me. Neil Callan gets a leg up, for me he rides Wolverhampton pretty well, in fact I believe it's his most succesful track?

Morning all, sadly yesterday fizzled out after an excellent start with Steps. I only have 1 today, hopefully he'll go well. I'm not going to tip anything for the Arc, it's a complex race and if you're desperate I could point you in the direction of some incredible judges. It's a cracking card in Longchamp, if you enjoy racing you'll love it, if you think you might enjoy racing, you certainly will after.

TERFELS TOSCAR 435 UTTOXETER

Ran pretty well on only visit to this track, and had a win 3 starts ago over this trip. A solid run followed by a bit of a stinker (over further). He's had a month off, pushed back to winning trip. I think he has every chance to feature here, this looks an open handicap, and at Bet365's 10/1 he looks pretty solid value.

Morning all, and praise the good lord for Dundalk. After a blank day and couple of winners helped.
I have just 3 today, despite the feast of racing. It's a minefield this time of year and generally a bit of a struggle finding winners.

STEPS 130 ASCOT
The horse generally runs pretty well here, has won on soft ground more than once. Jamie Spencer will suit the horses style and this race a squeak easier than last time out. I'd expect a big run from him, yard in excellent form also.

ANGELS WILL FALL 445 NEWMARKET
This horse beat Steps into second in the Portland, then a week later finished ahead again in the Group 3 at Newbury. Also dropped back into Listed company. I'd suggest a standard bet and then if Steps does indeed land the 130 then perhaps add some of your winnings to this one.

ELNADWA 915 WOLVERHAMPTON
After struggling in slightly better races, a decent run here last time out. Wont need to improve much from that to feature again here and is a bit of value for mine.

Morning all, a couple of winners, most importantly my main one yesterday. Fingers crossed we can get a few winners today. I have some at quite sensible prices really, could be a good day if things fall right.

My main bet today is MIDNIGHT RIDER in the 510 at Warwick. I know a few on twitter that will have written this off without looking for one reason, I'm not going to go there, you know who you are, ;-p
He won this race last year, and has put in some credible efforts since. His 3rd last time out at Newmarket is looking decent with winners coming out of that race like it's a fashion.

Morning all, so 1 winner yesterday, at least we didn't draw blank.

Today I'm keen on BREAKING THE BANK in the claimer at Salisbury. 320. A drop in class and I'm not sure the mark is right on the Hannon runner. Neither puts up any real form on softer ground but they do both set the standard. The value lies in my selection so hopefully he can oblige.
