Tuesday 7th August -

Morning all, yesterday looked full of promise when the first bet of the day, a headline selection, absolutely hosed up. Unfortunately it wasn't to be, and nothing else came in at all. No headline selections today, but one or two to wet the whistle, and hopefully a winner or two somewhere.

Monday 6th August -

Morning all from sunny suffolk. Yesterday was a bit of a washout, not just in Chester, just the 2 winners, and not at savoury prices. To be honest i was hoping for a couple at Chester so I'm blaming the weather. haha. Tonight sees the second Lady jockeys racenight at Carlisle, the first was very good although organisers must be hoping getting disappointed that they can't attract Hayley Turner to ride. One to look out for tonight is Becky Smith, a claimer, she rides very well and won't take long to ride out her claim. There are also some of the higher echelon of ladies competing with the amateurs tonight in Milzarek, Harrison, Ryan and Burke, plus more. Enjoy.

Todays main selections.

DESIGNS ON ROME - 220 NAAS (NAP)

Just half a length behind a future group 2 winner last time out, over a trip that appeared too short, back up to 7 today will suit, Comes from a pretty consistent yard and reasonably well bred, will certainly be involved.

LET'S TALK ABOUT MONEY - 400 KEMPTON

This one comes in from an in form yard, looking for a win at the 4th time of asking. Form working out nicely from first 2 runs, and didn't look ridiculously out of place in listed company last time, big drop down in class I'm just hoping he doesn't go odds on.

Sunday 5th August -

A small loss yesterday, but a few placed efforts might have eased the blow for each way players. We're currently just the wrong side of the line with the bookies for this month. Hopefully we can find one or two winners today and make it right. There is a heavy influence from the very in form Mark Johnston at Chester today, also David Wachman who is profitable to follow at Cork.
