Sunday 18th December - Racing and NFL

Yesterday we wanted 12 winners to hit 100 for the month, we got 9! and a frustrating 14 places. I got asked if I get involved in Totepool betting, I don't make a habit of it. I'm not really a small stakes, big win type of Guy. I'll have a go when it gets to life changing sums, but only as a bit of fun really. However, apparently I was very close to hitting the Scoop 6 place fund, I wasn't at work yesterday so have no idea what the S6 races were or which one let me down, I'm guessing it was Houblon. I did however (mythically) land the Ascot placepot which paid £36 so well done if you were on that. We should comfortably hit 100 winners today. If I don't get 3 winners here then I'll be pretty upset.
How good is Big Bucks. I'd say pound for pound he is the best horse by far in NH and quite possibly horse racing as a whole. My only worry is that there is no "Grand Crus" this year and I worry about a price for my Thursday banker at the festival. I'll explain that closer to the time but it should be Steps To Freedom(tues), Quevega (wed), Big Bucks(thurs), Long Run (fri) but we'll see how things play out closer to the time. Obviously Baby Run will enter equations if having another crack at the Hunter. Right that's in March so we'll move on!
