Morning all, another frustrating day, but I think I was quite clear that I wasn't hugely confident going into it yesterday. Some narrow defeats, probably the most frustrating was Al Muheer at 25/1, if the racecourse had been just 50 yards longer we would have made a profit! Anyway onto today and just 1 real fancy for me then 4 from the notebook, albeit 1 looks to be punching hugely above his weight but I have to do it for the sake.
COURAGE 225 SLIGO (NAP)
This is a good horse, he just doesn't really like winning. To be fair he's pretty ironically named given the way he crumbles in a finish, but he's been running well and connections will continue to seek out suitable openings for him to get that elusive win. He's given first time blinkers today, maybe that can make the difference when he gets to the business end, hopefully though he can be nicely clear and not have to worry about a scrap. I think this horse is genuinely good enough to go on and make an impact in some decent races all apart form the allergic to winning part, come Courage old chap, show some today.
