Morning all, I'm leaving the horses alone today. Nothing really catches my eye. I've had a couple bets on the Tennis and the Football, the Tennis starts early if you're following.
LEYTON HEWITT to beat Tommy Haas.
2 elder statesmen of the tour, both have some form this year, with Leyton looking very good on the grass in the summer. Hewitt leads the H2H 6-3 but they've not met since 2004! Both were beaten by Youzhny in the US Open, Hewitt in 5, Haas in 4. Both men are capable of turning up and really probably not a lot between them so the value lies with Hewitt.
JUAN MONACO to beat Jarkko Nieminen
H2H here is 2-2 but both Nieminen's wins came before 2008. Monaco has won the 2 meetings since, albeit both on clay. Another decent 1st round tie in prospect, and the value lies again with the outsider of the pair.
FIORENTINA to beat Parma
Fiorentina have won this fixture to nil the last 3 years, they are in decent form so far winning 3 of their 4 league games, The only blip a draw with Cagliari before their Europa league tie. Parma yet to register a win and have only managed 2 goals to La Viola's 10. They maintain the tiniest squeak of a fair price at Victor's 8/13, Hills a penny in the pound shorter at 6/10. Betfred won't even give you a ton to 2ton so 8/13 is a bet.
