In the Womens team archery! Russia look the standout bet at 22/1, in the ranking round only Korea(84) and USA(83) scored more bullseyes than Russia(82), they have the benefit of a first round match, against GB, to iron out the lower scoring shots and could provide an upset, with Korea being so short 2/5 i cant find a top 3 bet, but am still having a small play for top 2, come on Russia.

BANGOR
815 THE DISENGAGER been making jumping errors last twice, but gets a 3rd crack at this mark, back at the venue of last win, I'm a fan of Dickie Johnson and hopefully he can get this one round.
BALLINROBE
555 BULGADEN, didn't get the trip last time and that run should be ignored, form of prior 2 efforts is very nice indeed, should have the measure of this field back in trip, although incidently Swampfire has popped up in recent formline analysis and could be a live price danger.
FFOS LAS
735 THE JAILER This one is on a workable mark, with the very good William Twiston-Davies taking off a further 7lbs, WTD has been riding winners for trainer John O'Shea, and this one has a 50%SR here, looks a solid opportunity to me.
MUSSELBURGH
300 ELEGANT GIRL this one keeps running into 1 or 2 good ones, surely due to win soon, all form stands up to scrutiny and with the yard in flying form today is as good a chance as any.
500 MUFTARRES is now a non runner!!!!
SOUTHWELL
310 ULTRAVOX Trainer Jeremy Scott has a pretty decent record when sending to Southwell, this one is touch and go if he'll get the trip, some runs suggest yes, some suggest no. If he does expect him to be there, but the uncertainty will allow some value to creep into the price.
410 EBANOUR back from a back, has the ability, might want more of a test than this, and McCain likes to school under rules (my opinion, not fact) if he's in there at the finish he'll be a big player, if not then back him next time out.
TIPPERARY
235 DYLANBARU (NAP) has by far the best form in the book, only doubt is the soft ground, but was eased when beaten by a real hotpot on a heavy surface. This one has real potential for me, and Wayne Lordan is riding out of his skin this year.
305 TEOFILINA the form on good ground stands up to questioning, but didn't like it heavy, it's soft today so an unknown, this one has unrealised potential and should win before long.
YARMOUTH
220 VESTIBULE she is a little exposed, but better form on better ground, and Cathy Gannon has gotten a decent tune when she's been on board. This looks a decent opportunity and well in with a crack to shake the maiden tag.
520 SEE THE STORM I've put this one up on twitter this morning. Completely missed break over this trip last time out, back kept on for jockeys urgings and finished respectably. Visor stays on, and a very good jockey booking in Freddy Tylicki. Returning to scene of only career win also.

Off to Finland today, 3 from top MARIEHAMN entertain 3rd bottom JJK, who incidently have lost their last 3 road trips. Odds of 3/4!!! are available in a few places, and on the form that looks a decent price to me.
TENNIS
It's finals day, in Gstaad JANKO TIPSAREVIC takes on THOMASZ BELLUCCI. Psychologically Tipsarevic has a huge edge having beaten Thomasz in the Semi Final in Stuttgart just last week, although it was a close affair, going to a 10th game in the third set, for me Tipsarevic edges this, on my ratings it is 69-67, that's how close it is, Janko the edge but at the prices trading might be the better option.
In Hamburg, TOMMY HAAS meets JUAN MONACO, This is Monaco's second final in 2 weeks, and if we said he put in a below par effort last week, we'd be being kind to him. Monaco has the better head to head, but they've never met on clay, overall I have Haas shading it, he is having somewhat of a twilight year and with the home crowd, and Monaco's final hurdle demise playing on his mind. I'm going for the veteran German in 3.
Atlanta, tonight, and ANDY RODDICK takes on GILLES MULLER. Both came through tought tests in the semis, and deservedly line up here. Roddick leads the head to head, and like Haas, with home support should be able to add to that.
Now for the women, and in Bastad, MATHILDE JOHANSSON plays POLONA HERCOG, had you asked me to name the finalists here, even yesterday, it wouldn't have been these 2! These 2 are relatively closely matched in most places, but Hercog is the better player on the surface, and holds the advantage of having won their only meeting. But tread carefully as these 2 have been the underdog most rounds leading to the final.
In Carlsbad, MARION BARTOLI plays DOMINIKA CIBULKOVA, they are very even head to head, and given that Bartoli has only just despatched Chan in the semi (at time of press) the odds compilers haven't gotten involved as yet. Just going on my figures from the semis, I'd have to go Bartoli.

CYCLING
The winner of this years tour may well be decided today. Well if Nibali wants it, he has to do it today, by at least 3 and half minutes for mine, it looks highly unlikely. However if he skips clear on the final climbs and Brad picks up a mechanical problem.... like i said, highly unlikely. Chris Froome has been playing the part of Goose incredibly and admirably and the bookies have him favourite today, I presume on the basis that he will be allowed a moment of glory, by god he deserves it, should the opportunity arise. With the HC climb so close to the finish it's unlikely that the breakaway will be strong enough to do the business, but Voeckler and Kessiakov will have plenty of points to fight for earlier in the stage. Again expect Euskatel to be prominent, they have to be in the Pyrenees, they are in this for their lives with the threat of no sponsor next season. Yesterday Izaguirre got involved so perhaps Martinez might fancy it today. Tejay Van Garderen was allowed to go on and leave Big George doing the marshall job on a broken Cadel Evans yesterday, and he might have the free rein today to put in a big one and secure the white jersey, with only one challenger as well, Thibault Pinot who, it has been suggested, may well have a pop, Tejay is already streets ahead in ability. So 3 bets for me today.
NIBALI win @ 6/1 Paddy Power + Coral
VAN GARDEREN @ 66/1 Sportingbet
MARTINEZ, Egoi @ 100/1 Bet365, Paddy Power and William Hill.
Good Luck and Happy Punting.

Only one game on my radar today, in the Finnish league, it's the "Acronym Derby" between VPS and TPS, as far as i know i invented that term, but i think it shoud stick, perhaps we could try and get it trending on twitter. Anyway the home side are playing well, the away side aren't up to their usual standard. So a VPS win is where my money is going.
CYCLING
If it ends in a sprint Cav will be on his own, Goss has been getting the better of Sagan so I'd go Goss, BUT it's Bastille Day, the French will want a French winner, it will take a monumental effort over some punchy little climbs a fair way out, so my bet is with the only man in the world who will have the audacity to think he can do it, Silvain Chavanel.

CYCLING
Today is a proper stage of Le Tour, Climb after climb after climb, finishing at the top of a climb. Bradleys legs will be tested on every climb here and he will need his team on top form, he has a terrific wingman in Chris Froome though. With so many climbs then expect the KOTM contenders to get out early and press the issue, picking up points. As for winning the stage, who knows, if the breakaway stays away then Voeckler will be there with a chance again, and maybe someone like Scarponi, if the leaders get there, which given the severity of the climbs, I'd expect them to, this should be the stage that really shows us who is in contention to win this, and there could be a shock, remember Carlos Sastre on the Alpe D'Huez? It is up to Nibali and Evans to really have a crack and on value, aggressiveness and climbing ability I'd side with Nibali. So that's my only bet today, Vinny Nibali to win, Bet365 and Boylesports appear very generous with their 10/1 n offer.

The Womens final takes place today, Should be a cakewalk for Serena, even before the doubts about Radwanska's fitness. I've backed les than 19 games to be played at 6/5.
LE TOUR DE FRANCE
Todays is the first real worthwile stage of Le Tour, the sprinters and puncheurs have have their play now the climbers get a crack. With a Cat 1 finish today the real strong men will be at the fore, but very rarely will a GC favourite hit the front this early. However they won't be about to just let a rival crack on, expect someone a little off the pace to have a go at joining the elite. 2 strong guys who would have Paris intentions but for some tough luck in running are Peter Velits and Robert Gesink, the former landed a very good top 10 finish last year and will surely hope to improve on that. The latter has a heap of unfulfilled potential, both may well be allowed to go and win today with managed time gaps. But a huge price that interests is Maxime Monfort. He will be an integral part of the Cancellara protection team today, but Fabian has been in the game long enough to know that it will take a miracle to maintain the yellow jersey. Radioshack may see Maxime as a chance to keep hold of the jersey, he is close enough and marshalling Cancellara will be up with the pace to stay aware of what is going on. So my bets are
P. Velits 2pts ew @ 40/1
R. Gesink 2pts ew @ 40/1
M. Monfort 1pt ew @ 200/1

Cav has to be favourite for a stage like this, Greipels value has gone so the play has to be Matthew Goss who started to find a bit yesterday.
No bets in the tennis, although surely Roger is overpriced, but i think trading is the way to play both matches today.

Stage 3 of Le Tour takes us towards the coast, the twists, turns and hills in the final 80 clicks would certainly suggest that today is the day that the lone rangers could well play their hands. My main pick would be Silvain Chavanel, although his price maybe a bit short now. Also being so close to the top at present, Radioshack may be wary of him trying to get away. My second choise will be Alexandre Vinokourov, I'm pretty sure this guy has retired about 50 times already, he says he has come back here to win a stage of Le Tour and then retire again, I'd expect him to have pencilled this one in as an early possibility. Another suited by the finish and with a bit to make up is Luis Leon Sanchez and at 100/1 has to be worth a play. I'll give you my bets.
CHAVANEL 10pt win @ 20/1 Sportingbet
VINOKOUROV 2.5pt e/w @ 50/1
LEON SANCHEZ 2.5pt e/w @ 125/1 Boylesports
and in the slim possiblilty of a group finish
BOASSON HAGEN 2pt win @ 14/1 Sportingbet/Blue Square

I'm speculating today, The ones that I feel should win easy are priced accordingly. I have 5 who are potentially well priced, although the edge is minimal so just small doubles and trebles, first 2 are men, other 3 are women. Works out as 20 bets, 10 doubles, 10 trebles.

The best event away from Wimbledon is the Brawnsweig challenger in Germany, on clay.
To me the draw looks pretty tough in the bottom half so my outright play would be Carlos Berloqc. Play starts tomorrow, I think there are still some qualifiers to determine.
LE TOUR DE FRANCE
Stage 2 is a pure sprinters stage into Tournai, Breakaways will struggle to get away in the latter part of this race as the big guns teams wind up the pace. I'm going to be unoriginal and side with Cav, Sky will really want to flex their muscles in the first stage that Cav has a chance in. The scrap at the finish will see the usual suspects to the fore. Sky, Lampre, Garmin, Omega. All trying to get Cav, Petacchi, Farrar and Greipel in a winning position. My saver bet at 9/1 is Matthew Goss. Orica Greenedge have come here with a squad that really doesn't look like being prominent in the GC, therefore it would suggest that their priority is perhaps sponsorship. The real money is getting your name flashed over the line in a bunch and they will throw out the stops to get Matty there. They have a guy who has been there and done it in Stuart O'Grady so have a live chance. Yesterdays winner Peter Sagan faces a tougher task, I can't see Liquigas getting involved at the death and he will need to find himself a train, which is easier said than done, with the number of lone rangers who will be looking for Cav's wheel. Another looking to mix it up on his own will be the in form Marcel Kittel. If you want one who could get involved at a big price than have a look at Mark Renshaw, he is here as Rabobank's main sprinter and after the years as Cav's leadout man he knows what is involved in fighting out one of these finishes.
CAVENDISH @ 6/5
GOSS @ 9/1
RENSHAW e/w @ 40/1
