The Womens final takes place today, Should be a cakewalk for Serena, even before the doubts about Radwanska's fitness. I've backed les than 19 games to be played at 6/5.
LE TOUR DE FRANCE
Todays is the first real worthwile stage of Le Tour, the sprinters and puncheurs have have their play now the climbers get a crack. With a Cat 1 finish today the real strong men will be at the fore, but very rarely will a GC favourite hit the front this early. However they won't be about to just let a rival crack on, expect someone a little off the pace to have a go at joining the elite. 2 strong guys who would have Paris intentions but for some tough luck in running are Peter Velits and Robert Gesink, the former landed a very good top 10 finish last year and will surely hope to improve on that. The latter has a heap of unfulfilled potential, both may well be allowed to go and win today with managed time gaps. But a huge price that interests is Maxime Monfort. He will be an integral part of the Cancellara protection team today, but Fabian has been in the game long enough to know that it will take a miracle to maintain the yellow jersey. Radioshack may see Maxime as a chance to keep hold of the jersey, he is close enough and marshalling Cancellara will be up with the pace to stay aware of what is going on. So my bets are
P. Velits 2pts ew @ 40/1
R. Gesink 2pts ew @ 40/1
M. Monfort 1pt ew @ 200/1
Good Luck and Happy Punting
