Friday 21-12-12

Morning all, despite the selections becoming decimated by the inclement weather around the country yesterday, 6 went to post. 2 of which won, at 20/1 + 6/1 respectively. This was a very pleasing result, and has given me another small tweak to my system. Today looks pretty tough and I have just 4 on the AW this evening to put up, plus a pretty obvious but, in my opinion, secure forecast bet at Ascot.

230 ASCOT

SIMONSIG to beat ACT OF KALANISI
Top, top, top novice hurdler Simonsig makes his chase debut today, every inch of this horse looks a potential chaser. The big grey travels beautifully through his races and, as the odds suggest, should really encounter zero problem here. AOK is the obvious forecast, and rightly so. He was in with a chance over C&D 3 starts ago before late jumping errors cost him the race, he made amends next time with a commanding win at Leicester, and wasn't disgraced lto within 10 lengths of Captain Conan, his best chance is to run his own race and not to try and beat Simonsig. You should get around even money for the FC provided Dare Me doesn't attract any interest at all in the ring and drifts out markedly.

WOLVERHAMPTON

520 HIPSTER (NAP)
620 TARO TYWOD

DUNDALK

600 SHERZAN
800 ELLEVAL

Good Luck and Happy Punting
