Morning all, a winner most welcome yesterday after a little spell of placed horses. I have 2 today.
DARK EMERALD 725 GOODWOOD
This one has performed consistenly well in lower grade races and has perhaps found the fields a bit classy when attempting to move up. That being said i think Hills have got him wrong with their 12/1 quote this morning, as low as 8 elsewhere, and I think he represents a bit of value. Fallon is booked to ride, and if he turns up it's worth noting that he doesn't travel to evening meetings for the burger vans, if he bothers he usually leaves with a winner. This one is capable, and overpriced.
SEJAALAAT 905 GOODWOOD
His only win comes from his only visit here, over todays trip. Needed a couple of runs this year but looked like he was getting the hang of things last time with a decent second in a race where the winner has won again, and others in behind have run well also. This isn't a strong race, a competitive one yes, but not strong. You'd, well I'd, like to think this horse is probably the best in it, the main issue is his mentality, he is a bit of a shit but if he can settle enough to eak out a further couple of pounds then he should have this.
