Monday 13th June

Back to work today after a relaxing week off, won't be too many tweets today as I'm in a shop with little signal and steady race by race trade. Also going to have to make it quick this morning as time won't allow. Good luck to the 140 Characters tonight with Sweet Secret, I shall write my thoughts tomorrow, win or lose. For the sake of the game I hope it wins or at least puts in a bold show and I will explain during tomorrows blog.
Yesterday we made £6.50 per £1 profit making a profit pot of £14.20 per £1 for June.
9 Selections today, all have been stringently looked at.

SEDGEFIELD
230 Sedgefield opens with a juvenile hurdle contest and the already raced pair of Dance for Livvy and Fine Style make the obvious appeal, but I'm going to throw a bone at OPERATEUR. The newcomer carries the jockey that won this race last year and he turns a profit when riding at this track. Worth a little look me thinks.

330 Showed last time out that he wouldn't be hampered by a longer trip by sticking to the task, if not picking up, under a conditional jockey. WINGED FARASI is the selection in this, he is creeping back towards his last winning mark and as i said he kept up to his work lasttime out suggesting thathe could handle another trip. Definately the value in the race and the 7/1 sticking out at Stan James looks like a bit for each way players given that he has finished 3rd in all 3 races this term.

400 JUSTWHATEVERULIKE is down in weight, down in class and ready to win.

500 A game second last time out suggests that LISBON LION is now ready for this code of racing, will need to come on for that run to take this but progression shows every chance that he will.

CARLISLE
315 A tricky little race and I'm going to side with DAISYCLIPPER on handicap debut under the champ. Has looked very progressive and unfortunate not to break maiden when a nk second last time out, the form of that race has stood up as reasonably strong and with a very positive jockey booking this could go well at the 8/1 on offer this morning.

WINDSOR
700 Sorry 140 Characters I truly hope I'm in the wrong here but no spoils for Sweet Secret tonight, needed the run last time she had a lengthy break and nothing suggests it should be different tonight. My selection in this is PRINCE OF SORRENTO. Thoroughly enjoyed the cut in the ground over C&D last week and runs under a 6lb penalty as connections feel he could be worse treated by the handicapper in the near future, should double up nicely.

730 Only beaten a short head over C&D at the start of May, NEW LEYF(NB) is taken to bring this home, Jeremy Gask has secured the services of the in form Ryan Moore which shows confidence in the horse. To keen over a longer trip last time and should appreciate the drop back in trip.

WARWICK
740 For me it's last chance saloon for Henry Cecil's TIMEPIECE(NAP), back down to listed company where she has won most of her races. Ran creditably 2 starts ago when third to stablemate Midday but very poor last time out at Epsom, although I feel most will agree that was entirely the fault of the jockey. Hopefully Mr Queally will have learnt from his mistakes and not send the horse too early here. If the race is run right the selection should take this on hands and heels.

Just spotted my selection for the 810 is a non runner so I'll leave it there. Only the 8 today now.
Good luck and happy punting.
Until tomorrow.
