It's our last tipping blog for June, and with only 7 selections today, level stake profit for June is secure. Seconditis appeared to be edging back in yesterday in moments. Our 16/1 NAP yesterday was a very close 3rd, official gaps were hd-hd. We also underestimated Emulous as she defied a huge weight pull to hold off my selection Claimh Solais 8/1, although over a mile perhaps? We did get a winner yesterday in the shape of Kastania 9/10 in the very last race, so each way players and/or money chasers could have gone home happy. Level stake win punters, we have work to do!
HORSERACING
HAYDOCK
400 SAN CASSIANO is due to be put up 3lb in the near future, currently within 2lb of last winning mark the feeling is that connections are having a last throw of the dice to nick a win before the raise. Ran well and narrowly missed out 5 days ago, back down in trip should suit and shouldn't be outclassed in this grade.
EPSOM
725 COLLECT ART is a hugely consistent sort, 6 wins, 4 seconds, 2 thirds, since March! He has been handling every rise in weight in his stride. He can win over multiple distances, multiple grounds. He's on a career high mark now but is sure to finish in the frame.
LEOPARDSTOWN
700 I'm taking on the favourite here with TENTH STAR on evidence it looks as though the trip will suit better and with the stable in tremendous form I'll be happy to side with this progressive sort.
730 GREAT REALIEF was disappointing when last seen here over 8f, however was C&D runner up 2 starts ago in a similar event and step back in trip to 7 should ultimately suit. Has winning form including first appearance for the season over 7f at Dundalk.
800 PRESIDENT LINCOLN is still a maiden but has been close to getting up a number of times including events similar to this. As with the 700 stable is flying at the moment and it wouldn't surprise me to see this one finally get his head in front.
835 ARTICILITIS(NAP) has been gradually dropping down the weights and is back to last winning mark. Looked very useful with succesive third places over longer and shorter trips last twice. This trip is bang in the middle and he looks a sort that will just stay when asked. Boylesports offer 10/1 and with 17 runners you get 4 places so he is my NAP for today.
905 JOHNNY MCGEENEY is taken to land this now with a bit of experience at this level, a bumper and hurdle winner in NH code, he just needs to translate that to the flat and on evidence of his first run could be a strong horse in this code.
