Monday 20th June

We made a little profit yesterday, were generally unlucky with Red Cadeaux in running for the depleted double. The blog stats now sit at a profit of 13.33points to a level stake. Only 2 selections today. So win singles and an each way double should do the trick. The racing is pretty poor today really although a monster pool of over 300,000 in the jackpot at Windsor tonight should make it a bit more interesting. Given the evening start to the Jackpot I estimate a pot of around 800,000 come race 1, so plenty of interest for totepool players.
My selections
KEMPTON
315 BRYNFA BOY a pretty inconsistent sort on turf, just seen once this year and gave little account of himself after a lengthy beak, back today after what looks to be his optimum break (35-45 days) and on an all weather surface. His all weather form reads 112 over the last 3 races and has a big chance today. Only slight doubt is that he is still on an all time high mark but should cope with that now off the turf.

WINDSOR
810 BUXFIZZ has been running in some very good races, His last 3 races have produced 7 next time out winners, now 1lb below his last winning mark with the jockey taking off a further 3lb claim, this looks to be a terrific chance to take the money. 3 places still offering 7/1 makes each way appeal for players of that game also.

I promised a little look at Wimbledon but I confess I haven't really looked into it too hard. I will give you a little bit of my insight each day, but we'll have a quick tip up for day 1.

Tommy Haas looks a decent bet at odds against versus Gilles Muller. The German may be well down the rankings lately but he has always saved his best tennis and done well at the All-England club.
Potito Starace could be a tentative take against the out of form Stanislas Warwinka, given Warwrinka's poor performance at Queens Starace looks very overpriced at 365's 6/1
Jelena Dokic seems to be getting back to her best form and is taken at odds against to beat Francesca Schiavone on what is arguably the Italians weakest surface. Schiavone will be disappointed from missing out on her best chance of a grand slam and will get a very tough game today.
Make a yankee with second round regular Vania King to book her place by beating Petra Martic.
