After another 4 days of sifting through tosh, we have some "better" racing, we don't really go full on until tomorrow, but today is a good move in the right direction. It was nice to go in and edit yesterdays blog with winners, haven't had that pleasure for a couple of days. Once again each way players will have got out just fine yesterday, win only punters, we have to try again. Only a 7pt loss, but to be fair both the NAP and NB were narrow 2nds and the third for the treble was a head 3rd in a 6 run event with 3 non runners! Effectively we were an accumulative half length from a monster profit, narrow margins huh.
Well, @theGambolar turned me over yesterday by 1 and half points. Which was unlucky, but that brings the score to 2-2. Tour De France, I completely disregarded Andy Schleck to mine and the pelotons peril, the fella just rode away on the 2nd of the days 3 HC climbs like he was riding to visit his mate. The measure of the man, and all pro cyclists, is that he gave the impression he put less effort in that than I would stick in to conquer the Valley Road(it's a location statement, it's a road in Ipswich) The advice was to back Frank Each way and he duly obliged with a second place finish atop the Galibier.
In the European golf we have the overnight joint leader, Alex Noren. Woo hoo, Romain Wattell would be thereabouts also had he not tripled the 17th. In the US code this week we have Goydos and Cauley 1 and 2 shots off the pace respectively. Happy days.
