Well back to earth with a bump yesterday, that was my first complete blank for, I don't know how long. Very disappointing. I didn't watch much racing yesterday as was engrossed in F1, Tour De France and Golf! Anyone who read to the bottom will have seen Sandy Casar E/w tipped up. He came 3rd at 25/1. So at least we got a few pence yesterday. Only 4 picks today. A pretty weak day of racing but these ones pop up for me so will be backed.
NAP KINGS ROAD 700 Killarney
Not a lot to like about any of these in this race, but I think Kings Road is the best treated in the weights, he has one on softer ground so the slight yield forecast shouldn't trouble him. Will be interesting to see opening price as tissue says 10 but betfair says 6.2. If he can repeat effort from 2nd in April then he should have a big chance here. 5pt win WINNER 12/1
NB CHEYENNE RED 330 Ayr
Reached a mark as high as 70 in the middle of last year, now down to 51. Blinkers used last time are left off today, and a step up to 7f is attempted by connections to bring home the spoils. Very well treated in the weights against some of the top end of the market. If the absent blinkers and step up in trip don't work it will be hard to find what will! 3pt win
TREBLE LEE'S ANTHEM 300 Ayr
Course and Distance winner, struggled in grade above this but has done well given hard luck in running last twice, a 3rd stab at this mark and well worth siding with in a race where any have every or little chance!
2pt win
1pt E/w Treble on above
1pt win selection JOHNNY HANCOCKS 620 Wolverhampton
Predominantly struggled in handicaps but does well in Selling/Claiming company. Has the ability to win this, the self belief is the ask.
Have a good day, Good luck and Happy Punting.
