Thursday 1st December - A New month, lets win those xmas pressies!

Right firstly, you will have to bear with me on the track stats, I was very unwell yesterday. Today looks very tricky but one or two good things may appear. Leicester and Market Rasen look to be the most likely punters havens whereby Wolverhampton, as customary, looks a very tricky puzzle to solve. I'm going to give you my pointers. Just remember I only bet my Lucky 15 and CAP selections, however if you agree on any soft case selections then fill your boots. The *** rating system is largely based on how much information I have on the runners, obviously winning chance is calculated in, but a * and a *** could well have the same chance of winning but far less proof is available.

TODAY'S LUCKY 15

OPUS MAXIMUS 400 WOLVERHAMPTON (NAP) 4/1
Opus is a very tricky ride, and one that can authorise vacation following rather necessary use of the persuader, but if gotten right he is brilliant. Just changed to Conor Dore, who seems to do ok during the AW season. Looks fairly treated for return to Handicap under half decent apprentice. Just tell Mr Kenny that he may well have a couple of days off to do his shopping this month.

WATER GARDEN 110 WINCANTON (Nb) 11/10
13 lengths clear of anything else when chasing down, in vain, Azione last time out. Due to go up 9lb next time and this step up in trip should suit. Murphy won't allow him to do too much too early and will then release the reigns when he has just enough to win. I think this chap will progress well if the cheekpieces continue to hold effect.

TRIPLE DREAM 630 WOLVERHAMPTON 8/1
I napped this guy last time, and he nearly prevailed at 16/1, up 3lb but he looks in form, i thought last time was the perfect time to get him right and unfortunately we got done on the line, I'm taking a chance as 3lb isn't a lot and he still represents a price. Another place today and he will be left alone for a bit.

ROSSBRIN 225 MARKET RASEN 4/1
Up 13lb from Huntingdon win, but he jumped so fluently on chase debut that it looks fair to soft. When they go that well then they needn't be pushed so always going to be a bit extra if needed. Another authoritative display of chasing here will see him home again.
