This one has been banging on the door, despite only ever winning a seller, it looks merely a matter of time before she does score. This isn't a strong event, her mark looks pretty fair and she certainly has the most consistent form on offer.
WEXFORD OPERA 250 CURRAGH
This son of New Approach must be wondering how he is still a maiden, as must his connections. He's line up in a Group 1, a Listed race, just when he sits in this class he keeps bumping into 1 too good! The other exposed one near the top, the filly Royal Empress achieved her higher mark with an excellent effort in a 2yo Grp 3 but for me hasn't lived up to it. Last time getting beat near 10 lengths off 95 in a hcap with a claimer taking off 7lb, I'd say these 2 are pretty even and I'm trusting Jim Bolger to have found the race, Oxx and Weld have newcomers so wiser not to lump on as has proven before he's always vulnerable to a good one.
