Woke up, thought I might get up have a look at the racing and pick a couple of winners, one look at the ATR website and I considered going back to bed for a lay in and giving up. There are a lot, and I mean A LOT of cracking races today. Time will not allow me to give full reasoning behind all my selections as I have picked out 22 bets today, plus my customary tennis doubles. We could have a barnstormer. Yesterday we bagged Ostland 3/1 and Famous Name 4/5, plus anyone going to Newmarket was given Certral 7/4 and Ellemujie 5/1 (although I backed neither myself) In the tennis we have a double with Lopez 3.7 and Azarenka 1.57 with both running onto the unfinished Paszek at 2.375( currently 1 set each with the selection 3-2 on serve in the third). Shall we get started.
NEWMARKET
215 My Propeller - Hugely impressive last time out, should follow.
245 Cavalryman - Performed at a higher level than this, perhaps needed the run last time out.
320 The Cheka (NB) - Well overpriced on early's, in form of his life
355 Sirens Song - Should be very interesting on Handicap debut, looks a great mark considering run in oaks
430 Burj Nahar - Been off for nearly 2 years, taken to beat half-brother Zain Shamardal
505 Dark Promise - Half sister of the battling boys in the previous, first run for Roger Varian
NEWCASTLE
200 Regal Parade - Beat beaten by Delgator and The Cheka last twice, ready to win, ground should suit.
230 Arganil - Ground should suit and big each way chance.
305 Activate - Overturn won this from a wide draw, would be great for Hayley to grab a win in this grade.
340 Captain Ramius - Watched this outrun odds of 33's at Newmarket last, can go better into place at least
WINDSOR
255 Nationalism - Drops into listed, any rain would not hamper chances
330 Norville - Course and Distance winner, mark may still be a wee bit high but an each way squeak
400 Berling - This is taken to win after close second to Royal Ascot winner last time at Epsom
CURRAGH
300 Somasach - Dropped down in class, and struggled in Group 2, has a lively chance today
335 Midday(NAP) - This was almost a 2 horse race, but Snow Fairy has gone.
410 Red Cadeaux - Very unlucky in running last time out, big chance here at value price.
CHESTER
345 Bertie Whittle - Drawn well and been very consistent
420 Lucky Numbers - has won on heavy ground, overpriced
DONCASTER
745 Stella Point - Dropped a long way back in class to break maiden tag
850 Alensgrove - Better treated than some of these in the weights.
LINGFIELD
550 Arabian Falcon - Been on the improve each start, blinkers tried today for first time.
725 Viewing - Won on only visit to all weather, have a crack at 2/2 today.
